The little creature has either gotten the message or has met his demise.

    We’re now “working on” our EIGHTH mouse of the season.
    And at one point, “Anonymouse” #6’s tail was, like yours, peeking out from one of the holes of the stove. And flickering. (Teasingly?)
    So yes, I’m sure there are plenty of us who are enjoying your poem. I plan to forward it to my husband, who’s in charge of the traps…
