What a insightful article, Yasmine. I felt sad to hear how isolated you felt, that no one took the time to understand your holy day. I loved hearing about the yummy food your mother prepared. I’d like to know more about your special days. I remember the call to prayer going out 5 times a day while I was in Egypt and Jordon. What a wonderful tradition.
Thank you for writing. Please write more.
