Vote For Your Favorite Poem

The 30 for 30 Poetry Celebration, along with National Poetry Month, is now finished and it’s now time to vote. Please vote for your favorite poem of those that were posted during the month of April. You may vote for only one poem. The poem that garners the most votes will receive a copy of my new poetry collection, Garden of Rain.

    There are many fine contenders here Mike and after re-reading them all again I would say that Painting a Brighter Future by Mario Landeverde deserves top honors for originality and attitude. However, if he is deemed ineligible, due to reasons beyond his control, i’d have t o say that the lunging lady, with the pastel pumps, and polished open-toed roots, is a worthy springing vision…walk on Lady in Crosswalk.

    I vote for Pat Falk’s Perennial. I immediately loved this poem – both for its familiarity and for its strangeness.
