The Great Kosher Meat War of 1902: A Review

In 1902, a little known event in our history occurred in Lower Manhattan. A group of poor Jewish woman, mostly immigrants, led an uprising against the rising price of meat – in their case, Kosher meat.

Here’s my review of the book, The Great Kosher Meat War of 1902 by Scott. D. Seligman who brings to us an important slice of our history.
