Katherine Gotthardt

This tree, sixty fists clenched, arthritic as an ancient finger,
pointing towards the sun: “This is how you get to grow old.” 

Katherine Gotthardt is a poetry and prose writer who values word economy in poetry. Her pieces are often short and loaded with symbolism and wordplay. Katherine’s sixth book, a poetry collection entitled Late April, will be released this month, one year after the release of her previous collection, Bury Me Under a Lilac. When she is not writing poetry.
