DREAM OF THE MARION-APPRECIATION PARTY

Marion Cohen dedicates this poem to all small-press poets and writers; it’s from an actual recent dream. Her 27th book came out a couple of months ago; “Truth and Beauty” (WordTech Editions) is about the interaction among students and teacher in her course, Mathematics in Literature, which she developed and teaches at Arcadia University in Glenside PA. Some of her other books are “Crossing the Equal Sign” (Plain View Press, about the experience of and her passion for math), “What I Wore Today” (dancing girl press, about the joys, Angsts, and politics of thrift-shopping), and two controversial memoirs of spousal chronic illness. Other interests are classical piano, singing, Scrabble, four grown children, and five grands.
