 Dreams of Their Own

Ardent beauty in birth of a child
A love so tender, a love like no other.
 Awesome beauty shines with glorious
   Blessings
As we watch our children grow with
   A sense of pride.
Flowers given while we are alive
We see beauty looking into our
   children’s eyes.
 Sweet fragrance of a Rose
 Velvety soft, tenderly touches
   delicate souls
 Souls of our children.
 Entwine our hearts with strength
   and love
 Strength of a sunflower standing
   In countryside garden’s cove.

 Wondering what divides truth of
   Our hearts desire
Straying from reality of what our
   children truly want.
 Our children are human
 Our children have dreams
 Dreams of their own
Dreams that may not follow what
   Parents have in mind.

 Parents, open our hearts
Lift off cap of treasure chest
   of freedom
 Let freedom flow
Let children show what they know
Let children walk path of their desires.
 Your teachings will embrace ambitions
   and careers
Wipe away doting fears, dry all tears
Focus future on honesty, truth and
   Love.
