In collaboration with Art4US, I am coordinating a reading at Gallery B in Bethesda called Mediterranean Threads. The reading will consist of Italian and Palestinian poetry in their original language and in translation.
Zeina Azzam, poet laureate of Alexandria, will be reading poems from 5 Palestinian poets. Antonella Manganelli will be reading poems from 5 Italian poets. And I will be reading the English translations.
Come to Gallery B to see the exhibit from all the wonderful visual artists and listen to some poetry from overseas.
