E. Ethelbert Miller to Appear at the Poetry Society of Virginia’s Northern Regional Conference

E. Ethelbert Miller, one of Washington DC’s most prominent African-American activists and authors, will be the featured poet at the Poetry Society of Virginia’s Northern Regional Conference which will take place on March 23rd at Northern Virginia Community College – Annandale Campus. Miller, a poet and literary activist, is known in DC not only for his poetry but for his involvement in such institutions as the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), a progressive think tank located in Washington, D.C. He has also served as the editor of Poet Lore, the oldest poetry journal in the country.
